Whitehill Search Ltd is a specialist recruitment business which provides search and selection recruitment service. We process personal data (including sensitive personal data) so that it can provide these services.
You may give your personal details to the Company directly, such as on an application or registration form or via our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board. How we get the personal information and why we have it:
- Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you.
- This is provided when you approach us to register as a candidate or when we have identified you for an appropriate opportunity with our clients.
- This information is gathered through either an email or phone call and further information is gathered through various stages of the recruitment process.
- We may also gather information through referrals from previous work colleagues.
- We also utilise a number of sources to gain information through our identification process that are available on the public domain. These include the likes of LinkedIn and company websites.
- From time to time, we may also carry out exercises to map out business sectors and/or functions and information such as name, job title and employer may be gathered from this.
- Your personal information will only ever be shared with a client with your prior consent.
All this information is collected for legitimate business reasons to identify suitable candidates for our client’s needs.
Transferring Data outside of the EEA
The information provided may be transferred to countries outside of the EEA when prospective employers and contacts are based outside of the EEA. These countries may have different privacy laws and therefore we will ensure your personal information is still protected as per this policy.
